I stop by The Mission Inn every Christmas, on this Sunday before Christmas we had brunch. The wife got an omlet made her way, I got the waffles and the prime rib. This brunch is at the top as far as I know and Ive been to more than a few in southern california.

FINE dining at its best. Reservations required. Dress Code. Does have a bar and lobby area to enjoy cocktails before dining. Beautiful ans elegant atmosphere. Supreme service. Well worth the money. Nothing on the dining menu is a bad choice. Partial validation for valet parking.
We had our anniversary dinner at Duanes while staying at the Inn. From the moment that we were greeted and sat at our table the service was impeccable. We ordered the filet and ribeye which we cooked to perfection the whole evening was a perfect night.
Great experience here last night. I used to manage restaurants and this was one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. My wife and I shared the burrata, and then the ribeye with scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. Perfect service. Wonderful ambiance. 1010 would go again. Make sure you get a reservation!
